MDI Gives Back on Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is a global movement to kick off the giving season. Celebrated the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday is a great counterbalance to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Every year MDI sponsors the Preservation Society of Charleston’s Fall Tour of Homes. This year we want to encourage you to join a tour, a garden walk, or a talk and get better acquainted with Charleston’s beautiful historic homes.
Embracing the Sea
When the homeowners first set foot on their Kiawah Island oceanside property, they joyfully stood with their arms outstretched. “We want the house to be open to the ocean,” they said. “We love to host our family and friends that are spread out all over the country. We also want a home where they’ll feel welcome,” they said.
