Cherry Blossom-Inspired Interiors

Each year, cherry blossom season in Washington, D.C. draws in thousands of people to appreciate these beautiful blooms. Visitors and locals alike follow along with the bloom timing through the National Park Service’s Bloom Watch. Though peak bloom doesn’t last long, the beauty of this season marks the beginning of spring for many.

That same soft pink is a shade we love bringing into interiors. If you’re used to sticking with neutrals, it’s a really easy way to start experimenting with color without feeling too bold or overpowering. A hint of blush can completely change the feel of a room, making it feel softer and more layered while striking the balance between neutral and feminine.

Adding soft pink to interiors doesn’t have to be extreme to work. Some of the best “cherry blossom pink” moments are all in the details. A throw, some pillows, a piece of artwork, maybe a chair in the corner or a set of lightweight curtains filtering natural light. Small touches here and there go a long way in bringing a little color while maintaining a sense of calm and balance.

Whether you’re looking to renovate in or relocate to the Lowcountry or the Washington, D.C. area, head over to our portfolio for more soft interior inspiration!
